As a collector of Monopoly sets I admit there is small alteration on the rules or formula between them. But Scooby Doo Fright Fest (the following Scooby Doo Monopoly incarnation) offers a small more alteration and feels `newer’ than say Simpsons Monopoly.

The packaging and artwork are gorgeous, the `Amusing Money’ dollars are minted, the Community Chest and Chance cards are now called Zoinks and Jinkies, dull hotels and houses are now Snack Shacks and Burger Joints and the playing pieces are obviously the Mystery Inc. Gang and their Mystery machine.

Out of zillions of Monopolies to point out from Scooby Doo Fright Fest is one of the best. And it’s an absolute MUST for Scooby Fans. Shame on you if you don’t have it already. Plus, as this game is simple to identify with for the kids, it’s probably appropriate for most kids aged 8+.

Another edition of Monopoly. The all time classic game. I collect Monopoly games and I just had to buy one. We opened it and played it and now I have to have another one (unopened) to add to my vast collection. Hasbro has done it over again. It’s a fantastic game for the kids because it helps teach them about money…spending etc. Way to go Hasbro!
