The fabric of this Scooby costume is pretty thin and cheap, but it’s not like you’re paying a mint for it. The hat didn’t work very well on my granddaughter and the collar was kind of a joke. It had gotten bent up and because it was made out of thin foam, we didn’t want to iron it. But the child was certainly recognizeable as Scooby and it was simple to get on and off as long as she had adult help so I would say this is a decent Halloween costume as far as things go. It didn’t last very long for playing in, but Halloween was fine.

The overall look of the costume is darling, but we found it hard to make the head part stand upright. The wind would blow the hat up, so you couldn’t see Scooby’s face and we had to constantly re-adjust his hat as we walked around the neighborhood. The material of the costume is thin, so if you live in a colder climate, you’re going to want something underneath it for your child. It was an OK costume, overall.

This costume is not sized correctly. A 4-6 is the size of a 4T or less vital! It was a cute costume, I recommend you order up one size. Costume craze was a complete pain to deal with. They were not evenhanded at all. They are the kind of company that wants to blame the customer and take no responsibility for their mistakes. Taking their own advice, we ordered based on our child’s clothing size. They are unprofessional and will NEVER get my business over again!!!!!!!!!!!
